Section 44
Relocation of children with chronic or severe illness
(1) If a child in a juvenile correctional home needs to be treated continuously due to a long or serious illness, or if a child is mentally or physically disabled or is under the influence of narcotic drugs, the concerned doctor recommends that such child be transferred to another place. (2) In accordance with the order given under sub-section (1), the organization or the person keeping the children shall send the health report of the children to the respective children's court every six months.
(3) If it is found that the child is healthy or has been freed from Kulat based on the report as per sub-section (2), the Juvenile Court may order the return of such children to their previous status.
